Lodging Policies

Rates
Posted rates do not include a 5.0% state tax, 0.5% county tax, 8% room tax and $2 per night MWINNS marketing fee. Rates are for two guests per room.

Forms of Payment
We accept cash, check (with photo identification), Mastercard, Visa and Discover.

Loft Deposit
In order to reserve the loft, we require a 50% deposit.

Rates
We strongly encourage all guests to purchase our private cancellation insurance. For $50 per night, you get the opportunity to cancel your room without penalty up to 72 hours in advance of your stay, no questions asked. This protects you from the plethora of life circumstances (sickness, car trouble, cancelled events, weather, change of plans, etc.) that come up without notice and impact your ability to visit.

Cancellation Policy (without Room Cancellation Insurance)

  • Best Rate Reservations – This is a non-refundable rate. No refunds or credits will be offered, irrespective of the date of cancellation.
  • Pay Less Rate – Rooms canceled more than 30 days of a guest’s scheduled arrival will receive a complete refund. If the reservation is canceled less than 30 days, the full total of the reservation will be charged to a guest’s credit card.
  • Standard Rate Reservations – Rooms canceled more than 14 days of a guest’s scheduled arrival will receive a complete refund. If the reservation is canceled less than 14 days, the full total of the reservation will be charged to a guest’s credit card.

Parking
We provide on-site parking for guests. The garage is located off the city parking lot on the corner of Grant and Third Streets.

Check-in/Check-out Times
Standard check-in is 4:00 p.m. or after. Standard check-out time is no later than noon. If you would like an earlier check-in (3:00) and/or later check-out (1:00 p.m.), you can purchase our extended stay option through the booking engine or by calling directly.

Damage to Property
Guests are responsible for all damage to property that is deemed outside of normal wear and use. While it is understood that occasional accidents do happen, it is the responsibility of our guests to use items in a manner that is consistent with proper use and handling of such items.

Outside Visitors
We allow up to two outside visitors between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Any violation of this policy will result in a $200 charge per day.

Diversity
We welcome guests of all race, creed, color, age, gender, religions, ethnic heritage and sexual orientation.

Room Reservation Age Requirement
The minimum age to reserve the cabin is 18 years old.

Loft Capacity
The loft is strictly limited to a maximum of 2 guests per bedroom at any time. Any violation of this policy will result in a $200 charge per day.

Minimum Stay Requirements
There are very few, if any, minimum night stay requirements. Dates which have a minimum night stay requirement are clearly noted within our booking engine.

Variable Rates
Like most lodging properties, we adjust our rates daily to reflect the demand for the loft. Peak rates are generally during the summer, winter ski season, holidays and special event weekends.

Food Allergies
Please be aware that our kitchen is used by many guests and may be contaminated by some food particles that could cause an allergic reaction from some guests.

Guests with Mobility Issues Given that the loft is on the second floor, stairs are required for use. As such, the loft may be inaccessible to guests with moderate to severe mobility issues. We apologize if this creates a limitation for any prospective guest.

Unusual Requests
We constantly strive to meet our guests’ needs. If there’s something you need or want that we don’t offer, please let us know. We will always attempt to meet any reasonable request.

Smoking/Vaping (of any kind)
For the health, comfort and safety of the property and future guests, there is no smoking/vaping within the loft or garage. Guests who want to smoke/vape are free to do so ten feet or more from any entrance. Should a guest violate this policy, we will charge a $400 cleaning fee to their bill.

Incense/Candle Burning
We do not allow the burning of incense or candles on the property at any time. Any violation of this policy will result in a $200 charge per day without exception.

Children
Children are allowed within the property. However, our guests will be held responsible for any damage and/or loss of business caused by their children.

Pets
Pets are not allowed within the cabin or on the property grounds at any time. Any violation of this policy will result in a $200 charge per day without exception.

Emergency Systems
The property is protected by smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. We also have a fire extinguisher accessible within the kitchen.

Privacy
The physical, personal and financial privacy of our guests is taken very seriously. We do not share any personal information or mailing lists with any outside party or business entity.

Cleanliness
We thoroughly clean the loft after each visitor. The kitchen and bathroom are meticulously sanitized. The grounds are picked-up and the bed linens, robes and towels are thoroughly laundered.

Excessive Cleaning Fee – Any excessive cleaning required upon guest departure will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $100, plus an additional charge of $60/staff hour. Our expectation is that guests will leave the property in the same condition it was upon arrival.
